Adria Bank AG, Vienna, a bank with a 30-year tradition, developed into a modern banking institution with a full banking licence on the basis of cooperation of the former major Yugoslav banks and with the support of the biggest Viennese banks. Following the entry of NKBM in 2001, the bank's majority ownership today is Slovene and the bank specialises in financing imports and exports on the markets of the Central and Southern Europe and in particular the markets of the former Yugoslavia.
